This tank has come a long way. Unfortunately we lost the zebra eel but I was able to add a new powder blue tang, a striped blend and a flame angel. Attachments:

Time to update this thread. The December storm and subsequent flooding left this tank shut down for five days. I saved as much livestock as possible but the result was massive die off of some mushrooms and all the microorganisms living I. The sand, rocks, pluming and sump. With all this I decided to take advantage of the situation and correct a lot of issues this tank has had starting with moving the sump to the right hand of the stand. Adding to this will be entirely new plumbing for the main return pump and overflows. Here are some pics of how I plumbed both hang on back overflows into one pipe. |
