Ive had some sporadic zoa losses that honestly have baffled me. My water is fine. I inspect the zoas with magnifying glass and dont see anything concerning. Half of one of my plugs dissappeared overnight. This evening when checking in on my tank I saw a big emerald literally ripping apart my mother kryptonite jawbreaker. He wasnt stealing food from it as the last time I fed was two days ago. Essentially zoas, and mushrooms are all types of anemones....so does this crabs diet include zoas as well?

I have a large emerald that picks between my zoas for algae. I have recently had a plug shaved clean wonder if it was the cause? Definitely an aggressive eater so I wouldn’t be extremely surprised. I’m pretty sure it ate my fire fish too so it was going to Vance’s touch tank when I transfer into my new tank anyways.
