So I'll be setting up a 20 long for my bettas after I repair the glass (accidently cracked it....) but for now they are floating in containers in another one of my tanks which you will see, and I have a 40 gallon breeder and a 14 hex that are not set up as of right now that may be soon for growing out, and various other tanks that people are borrowing, probably forever it seems. (Don't loan out tanks unless you never want them back) I bought four of the tanks and a million components last night for an amazing deal. I'm so happy that I think Christmas came early for me.
So here is what I have set up right now. A 29 tall Red Snakeskin Guppy and Red Wag Swordtail breeding tank with java fern, java moss, anubias, some sort of grass like val or something, and a few other odds and ends. It also has a few blond red guppies that I will be pulling out to put in their own tank. Probably the 14, at some point soon before they spread their genes too much. lol. Also some Armado? shrimp in this and the next tank. I will be adding crypts to this tank from the 40 that I bought that is currently not set up. In other news I want to thin out the red snakeskins to 25 fish, so I will be selling the rest on craigslist maybe.
A 20 long tank with a lonely rasbora, and a lonely neon tetra (not sure I would put a small little tidbit like him in this tank.... but this is how I got it, if anyone wants to adopt them to add to your tank if you have appropriate schools msg me.) a flying fox, a male bristlenose pleco, another pleco that I forget the name of but I think he said cactus... has been hiding so much that I haven't seen it, a raphael cat I think, a pictus cat, and three albino cory cats. Notice a theme? Also a bunch of tiger barbs. These guys are huge. A couple are approaching 3 inches but most are about 2 inches. They also have a "cat" name with the tiger inference. I'm not sure if he intended that or not. For plants there is a lot of crypts, some java moss, and some strange little plant that I forget the name of. If you know comment below, but it's attached to some driftwood in the tank. Also one little marimo.
I then have a 20 long with my red swordtails and my albino koi guppy project. I'm crossing them with another strain to see what I can get that breeds true. I'm floating my koi bettas in there for now till I get their tank set up. It also has lots of baby bristlenose plecos in two sizes, teeny ones that are both long and short fin, and some an inch and a half maybe that are short finned. They were given to me courtesy of Spotfin. Thank you so much for the healthy and adorable little fish. For plants it has java moss and salvinia cucullata.
And my 10 gallon I have my purple cobra guppy trio and their babies, red wag platies and the long fin bristlenose pleco fry also from Spotfin. Lots of java moss in this tank, plastic plants, and something I forget the name off.
In two of my tanks I have red ramshorn snails and bladder snails. In the other two I have nerite, malaysian trumpet snails and bladder snails. I like snails. lol.
So I think that is everything... probably not. More to come. lol.
