I am going away for a couple days. How do you guys handle feeding the fish when you are gone for more than 3ish days? Currently I have to turn off the skimmer etc before I feed them or all of the food goes right into the overflow and poof.. gone... so I don't know if an automatic fish feeder is the answer. Having someone come in also isn't really an option.
Expertise in this area?

Automatic feeder with sinking pellets may work. There is always the risk of overfeeding with automation. I know this sounds terrible but some fishes will survive 3 days of not feeding... Vijay

When I went to Florida for 5 days I didn’t feed my fish. I didn’t trust anyone to do it for me. I just fed them well for a couple day before I left and then did a big water change before I left. The only thing I was really concerned about was my tangs getting too hungry and picking at corals, but thankfully no issues.

Hell, I don't have 16.50 a day worth of fish!!! They will have to sink or swim (pun intended)
