Arrow crab eggs?

So, I was looking at "leather face" this morning (husband named him...dont judge haha) and I noticed this white under it's belly. I dont think I've seen it before today but maybe it's because he's normally walking around on the sand? Anyways, I'm thinking "leather face" is a girl and im thinking these are eggs thats it's carrying? I only have one arrow, ive had it prob about 2ish months, so could it be eggs? Wouldnt she have to be fertilized to produce eggs? Either way, here are some pics....
