Found these in some small hermit crab shells (extras I bought so they can move up). Are they bad? What are they? Thanks.

Just a bristle worm. Not a bad thing to have unless you get stung by its spines.

They only become a problem if they start getting too big.... they can pack a pretty nasty sting. I keep them in my tank to help aerate the sand.
