New to the Reef World. I have done fresh water fish in the past for about 10 years and decided I would test my toes in the world of Saltwater. This is the setup I am currently working on. 65 Gallon Reef w/ LS / LR. 1 Purple Tang 1 Sailfin Tang 1 Yellow Tang 1 Black and White Clown 1 Phantom Clown 1 Frog Spawn 1 brown and teal mushroom (kind unknown for the moment) 1 Acan Echinata 1 Yellow Montipora (I think) 1 SPS that I think is a certain kind of brain coral. 1 purple Condi 1 rose tip bubble anenome 1 rare albino artic bubble tip anenome 1 purple sea urchine 8 snails Running A Eshoppes RS-100 Sump With overflow 1150 Powerhead Wavemaker 650 Powerhead Wavemaker 110 Classic EXT Reef Octopus Fluvel Marine Sea Pro 2.0 LED lights on a Fluvel Pro Controller Going to upgrade the second Wavemaker from 650 to a 1150. Still have a lot to learn but learning everyday I have a really bad time with names of things and have short term memory loss so I get told what something is and forget it 5 minutes later. Drives my wife up a wall!!! LOL Want to thank Captain Cooks Corals for the 3 New Additions to the tank I bought last night. RTBA Spider-Man Zoos Acan echinata

Welcome, looks like you've got a good start in the saltwater hobby. You may have heard this already but I'll mention it anyway, that's a lot of tangs for a 65 gallon. Expcially since all three can get 8+ inches eventually. That said the yellow will likely be able to stay comfortably in that tank the longest. As soon as you start to see stress or aggression from any of the tangs though it might be a good idea to think about rehoming them or upgrading to a larger tank.

What's an albino artic bubble tip anemone? I'm going to take a guess and say it's a fancy name a LFS gave to a bleached nem to try and charge more and convenience someone to buy it? For the buyer's sake I hope I'm wrong...

Actually the albino Arctic bubble tip anenemy was actually a joke. And yes it is a bleach bubbletip that I felt sorry for.
As far as we three tangs in a 65 gallon. I am currently buying another Tankthe Red Sea Reef 139 gallon. Which will house the tangs. So I will have both the 139 gallon and the 65 gallon. I should have the 139 around the 15th of next month.

Make sure to post pics of the Red Sea tank. I've been contemplating upgrading from my cadlights 70 to a Red Sea reefer 350 at some point.
