looking for some reviews of heaters. i have tried a couple different with not so good results. just had my second temp spike and lost almost everything AGAIN any help will be appritiated. thanks

I've used the via aqua titanium heaters for years without issues. They aren't the top of the line brand but for the price they do pretty well. I've heard and seen horrible things about the JBJ true temp heaters though so I'd steer clear of them.

I've had eheim heaters for the past 7 years for my fresh water and now use for the saltwater. I find them reliable but pricey.

I use eheim as well. I also use, and recommend, a temp controller.

Eheim here too. Theres a point where you just need to invest in a contoller.
