I'm looking for ideas on how to make my take better looking. What don't you like about it?

Maybe some new sand. And a shimmer strip.

The whole thing. But don't worry, I will come down and remove any trace from your home. Seriously though, I think it looks really good.

Your tank is one of the tanks on here that I can only hope mine will look like soon! I love it, but if you do need sand I'm gonna be taking out some of mine I think because its too corse for a deep sand bed so its not filtering like it should.

I think it looks good, but I would put some other colors in there. If you don't want to move to SPS, you could replace some of the green/brown corals w/ some blue or red zoas. Maybe get some rics too.

If it were me and I were rich I'd put an MP10 on that...its also very functional..though very expensive too. I think it would give it a little cleaner look without the power heads..but seriously it's an awesome looking tank keep it up.

Thank you. I dunno I'd like to have a more organized tank. I guess once the acros and monos get bigger ill plan it out more.

I think the sand looks great the way it is. I like what you did with the pvc overflow to the canister filter. Which fluval are you running? What is the size of that rimless? You could maybe take the overflow out, bleach it, vinegar bath it, then paint black with krylon spray.
What do you have for lighting?

Its the big fluval , I took everything out of it except 1 tray to run carbon. Its a 58 oceanic Rimless tank with a icecap 250 Watt light with a 20k bulb. I can take the overflow out without moving the tank. I wish I chould put a bigger sump in. I only have a 10 gallon sump right now.

Hm. So do you have the intake of the fluval coming from the 10 gallon sump? And a continuous siphon going to the sump from the pvc overflow?
Thats a great sized tank with a great light fixture.

Yeah it works great. I have to prime the fluval in the sump then unplug it and move the output to the main tank. If you don't do it that way it doesn't prime well enough.
