I wasn't ever happy with how the edge setup I had was working out so I scrapped it and started over. I did a 1/2" of MGOPS base, capped with another 1/2" of black diamond blasting grit. Reused the seiryu stone for the previous setup, but rearranged them for better light distribution. Replanted the Crypt parva from the previous setup. Got a deal from a user on plantedtank.net for some Marsilea Minuta, Glosso, Blyxa Japonica, and baby leaf bolbitis. Added an Anubias nana petite to partially hide the filter intake sponge. Replaced the carbon bag in the AC filter with a 100ml bag of Purigen. Bolibiis in the right corner, Blyxa Japonica in the left. Anubias center left. Glosso in the central mound. Crypt Parva surrounding the "mound", and Marsilea around the outside. It still needs a lot of work. But I'm too tired to try and fix it tonight(mono will do that I've been told). Fauna? Not completely sure. Maybe a group of 6 CPD's

Added a cobalt 25Watt neotherm. It's almost too big even as small as it is. Should give me much more stable temps than the last betta bowl heater I was using.

Thanks. A work in progress for sure. I still need to sit down and come up with a fert and metricide dosing schedule. I did add some microfauna the other day. Some stylaria, Dero, aeolosoma, and blackworms. Not a lot as I used most of the cultures to inoculate my 125. It would be nice if I could find a reddish plant that stayed small to put in the center of the glosso but I haven't found any so far. Right now it's all different shades of green Still undecided on the fauna.

Not much to report at this point. Nothing has died off yet at least A bit of the Marsilea melted but it was starting to go when I got it so I'll probably move some of the excess I put in the 125 over to the edge.
