Im gonna be building a tank approx 365 gallons. I would like to know if anyone has a good perhaps inexpensive place to buy a piece of glass 8foot x 3foot 1/2 inch thick. thanx

A piece of glass that big and inexpensive don't go together  . Are you looking for a front viewing window? Probably could try the larger glass places around ie Portland glass. Have you considered acrylic? |

+1 on Portland Glass. I think their branch up north has the best prices. Do you plan to build it yourself?

Yes im build myself. I line water treatment tanks for living among other coatings so i can get a decent price for the mats but i want glass front, I dont want acrylic. I know glass isn't inexpensive but some places are just outrageous so was wondering if someone had any dealings with any glass places and recommend them. I may even go bigger I don't know what sizes the glass comes in. May even cost the same buy full sheet then have it cut. I'm planning on building an addition around the tank so even have a little room behind it to house the equipment. I have some pretty big fish and they aren't even half grown will be a fun build and I will try to take pictures so people can follow

They promised to beat any price. They can cut to any size and thickness. No warranty for aquariums.

I got a glass guh in bradley that treats me well. He does all the glass for my sump builds pm me of you want his number. Typically has been cheaper than portland glass and fast service.
