Got my new LEDs in. Going from full strength 120W to 300W dual adjustable. Afraid I'm gonna fry my cirals out. How much should I start them out at? Half way. Right now I have blues cranked and other about 1/3 (like the color balance). To high, too low?

I would keep the multi color below 25% to start! These black boxes can be very very strong and focused light sorce. Also how high did you hang them? You may want to remove some if not all of the lenses. There meant to be hung a good 8"-12" off the water with lenses. (At least)

Turned both down to about a third on both. Is it OK for blues higher. Should I go lower on multi? Lights are 8" from surface

Blues are safer so yes you can have them higher. Always start lights out way lower then you think and work your way up.
