Ok. So I've got two questions. I'll try to keep it short. This plug has about 6 dragon eye zoas trying to grow on it. This is the only place the hair algae grows. Do I ditch the plug or find a way to get the algae off.I have a blue tux urchin in the sump. Will he eat it? Any other ideas? Second question is, what are these white appendages coming from my palys? Never seen this.

For the hair algae on the plug I'd try H202. I've used it on Zoa's many times and never lost a frag and always killed the algae. Do a 50/50 mix of 3% hydrogen peroxide and tank water for about 10 mins. Don't do more then 10 mins, but if the algae turns white you can take it out early. Light scrub with a tooth brush (trying to get the algae not the Zoa's) and wahhhlaaaa.... hope this helps.
