Kinda bummed.... Finally found the tank I wanted, 54g RR corner bowfront and got (what I thought) was a great deal. Turns out however that the glass is hazy and I cannot clean it. It appears it may be etched due to hard water? dunno... anyone have any ideas on how to clean it? or if it can be ?
Thanks in advance....

I know I'm going to state the obvious but...... Did you use vinegar?

Yes, I used a pretty strong mix of Vinegar and water with almost no effect. It's less noticeable when filled with water but still there enough to bother me. I've tried everything I can think of and some stuff I googled. It may not be something I can remove. CLR and Turtle wax rubbing compound didn't seem to make a dent either.. next step I assume would be wet sanding... I have a piece of top glass with the same hazy stains so I'll try that first I guess.
