Im just about out of aquarium silicone. I need to adhere the top frame back on the tank. Are there any aquarium safe equivalents availabe at home depot or Lowes. None of the lfs's carry silicone.

GE silicone 1 is the same as aquarium silicone and a lot cheaper. Just don't get GE silicone 2 because it has mold inhibitors

None of the lfs's carry silicone. pet pro has silicone too. He usually has both tube and caulking gun size. Maybe just sold out. But the GE silicone idea is good to know

For future reference, Lowe's and home depot sell a smaller tube of aquarium safe silicone. I can't remember the brand but the tubes green. GE #1 is great though, because you can use it and duct tape the tip after. Then just save the rest for a later project.

I have the one from Home Depot. Unused and half a tube. Free for anyone who needs it.
