What do you use for led ramp timers? I tried 2 of the Fluval ones but both are defective out of the box. Not many on the market, but the Current line seems good.

My Current does, in fact, do what I want. I had to submit a warranty claim on it at first, though. The thing was kicking on again at midnight (no idea why), and it wasn't saving some settings. Turns out, the only thing they had to replace to fix it was the .... remote?  I don't see how that is even possible, unless the *REMOTE* is what is storing the program.... SMH. But it works flawlessly with the new one. |

i have the earlier pro model 2 24" ones. they work awesome.theyre twice what I paid for them now though.

Glad it works. Do you have the Pro model which has the bells and whistles? Sorry for the delay in response. No, I do not. Mine has the ramp timer and all that. Not sure what bells and whistles they add to the pro. I paid something like $120 for my 36" Orbit Marine. |

NP. I ended up ordering the single ramp timer. The next model up is the Dual, it can run 2 channels. The Pro model can simulate cloud cover, storms, etc.

OIC. I saw that model in a video. I didn't really see the point in freaking out your fish with simulated lightning. Incidentally, I just checked my remote and I have those features, as well. I tested them and, as predicted, my yellowtail damsel HATES lightning storms.
