So I'd be interested in a group buy as well Not to discourage you if a shoal is what you want, but everything I've read seems to indicate that they will eventually be whittled down to one by aggression. It does seem strange that DD occasionally sells them specifically as trios though. |

I've heard firefish can form a semi school if you get 4-5 and introduce them all together.

I've always suspected that the bigger the group(and tank) the better you chances would be. I have 7 in my 90 with no problems at all. Started with 8 about 2 years ago. Interesting to watch them grow though. They all started the same size but now 1 is very large and 1 is very small with the rest about the same size. |
