German Blue Rams are gorgeous! I like smaller schooling fish. And I know they're common, but I love Panda Corys. They're not flashy or beautiful, it's the personality. Total, carefree mischief. The little mask adds to the effect. When I see a school of Pandas, I hear the sound of children on a playground; the laughter and the giggling. The larger the school, the more fun!  |

Mine have always been fancy guppies. I may set my son up with a freshwater tank just for an excuse to buy about 30 of them :-)

German Blue Ram Cichlids and Neolamprologus multifasciatus (really cool small cichlid that lives in snail shells in a colony. Fun personalities. I actually got a tank all set up to breed shell dwellers about a month ago, bought the shells and a lot of sand. I liked the gold ocellatus but the guy only had 1 left when I called to order so I got haps instead. |

My favorite freshwater fish that I owned was a parachromis managuensis (jaguar cichlid). To bad I killed him when I resealed his tank with the wrong silicone 2 months ago :/

I've had similar situations where mistakes caused the loss of some of my fish. Ya learn from them though and move on I guess. Out of curiosity, why did you have to reseal the tank? |

yeah I'll never make that mistake again and I resealed it because a friend of mine gave me a tank he had laying around that had a hamster in it, the hamster chewed the silicone up
