To make a long story short, got ripped off $25 today buying a 55 at a yard sale. One of the bottom corners is cracked. Junk it or repair by siliconing plexi to inside AND outside. Just planning on using for a quarantine for LA order I'm doing within the next couple weeks. And I know, a 55 for a quarantine; I couldn't pass it up (wish I had though)

Not worth fixing really imo I'd go back and ask for my money back. You can get a brand new 55g at pet co for 55$ during the sale or a 40B for 40$

Tough to return a yard sale item... Maybe try to sell it as a reptile tank for the money you put into it.

Ya I thought about bringing it back but with the story he gave me (disabled vet, had numerous surgwries, PTSD, living off $700 a month) I said no. He needs the $25 more than I do. So with that said anyone looking for a cheap herp tank?
