So Apex has just announced a new module called the PMK and advanced sensor module. It has a par sensor that hides inside a chunk of real reef rock and is supposed to constantly monitor your par in your aquarium. Idk about anyone else but I feel like this is a bit over kill? I get checking par possibly when placing a new coral in the tank but monitoring par constantly? By the way I think it's the most expensive module they have at $299 except the Dos witch it over $300 but imo worth the money for the quality and design of the doser (with stepper motors) something you'll use multiple times every day. www.neptunesystems.com/pmk/Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

Untill to sensor gets covered in coriline then you would have to pull the tank apart to clean it, I bet it would be helpful to those running t5 and MH so they know when to change their bulbs, but overall I don't think it is worth it
