Setting up a 30g breeder frag tank and thinking about drilling it for a sump? At this point if I don't drill it I probably won't even have a sump.

You can buy them reasonably on Amazon.com That's where I have gotten all of mine they average 5-7 dollars and work good just drill slow and keep plenty of water on them.
I usually use a piece of foam board cut a hole in it tape it down good where I want my hole fill the template with water and start drilling. I have drilled several tanks and haven't had a problem yet just let the drill cut its way through and don't apply any pressure let the weight of the drill do the work.

I've got a couple of different bits also, no idea on size right now as I'm at work ( I think they were for 3/4" and 1" bulk heads). They both were used on 40 breeders so they aren't too big.
I also have a brand new drilled 40b for sale if interested.

I like that it's not very deep, shallow tanks are best for frag tanks imo... plus I already paid for it Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

I'd prefer to loan them. I'm in Brunswick, but work in Winthrop so could meet in either area.
Bits are 1 3/8" and 2 7/16" (a little under 2 1/2) I have a template for the larger one.
Yeah already paid for is a good thing!
