For those of you who don't already know, I swapped to a larger tank recently and the deal with "the wife" was only one system. So I tore the tank down, cleaned it up, and posted it to sell. I received an email from a woman wondering if it was still available. When I said it was she said she wanted to buy it, wondered if a certified check and needed my name and address to send it to. Not even thinking (excited that I was selling it), I did. She explained to me that she was gonna send me the c.c. for $1950. Red flag! I'm selling the system for $300. Her reasoning was that I could keep my portion, and give the rest to the her "delivery agent" when he came to pick it up. Super duper red flag!!!!! When I asked her address and phone number, she fell off the face of the earth."She" found my ad on craigslist and "her" name was Jennifer Williams. The ad I placed also had a reference to this board that was automatically added when I copied and pasted my post from here. Beware and don't get sucked in!!!

I've been getting those emails for years for everything I sell on Craigslist...........very easy to spot and detect. Delete and move on.
