Had a bit of a fluke this weekend with my tank. 2 fish died overnight. A tomini tang and a fire fish. The only thing I did was remove the skimmer for a few days for a vinegar bath, would that cause enough oxygen depletion for these fish to die? Everyone else seems happy.

Was there anything left of the fish when you found them? Or did the CUC get to them? I don't believe taking the skimmer off line could cause this in any way. Most of your tanks aeration comes from your circulation pumps. Did you do anything different around the house? Paint or anything like that?

Nothing different in the house at all. Tank stays pretty regulated but it is placed in the basement. The Tank is a 125 with 40 breeder sump.
