Well my reef has made it one year. My only casualties, many thanks to those here and hours of online research and youtube videos, were a colt coral (sorry tucker I tried but it was to early) and a six line (sucked into a cheap powerhead, poor guy never had a chance). Now I have clown nested in an rbta, a sixline wrasse, a neon dottyback, an overeager emerald crab, a large cleanup crew, a cluster of Devil's armor, a hammer coral, some unknown green zoa, and a double-headed rainbow Ricordea. I've added new overflows (twice), skimmer, chaeto, upgraded return pump (magdrive), upgraded lighting from t5 to led (reefbreeders), added an emergency overflow, auto feeder, auto top off, ro/di system, upgraded powerheads to korlias, and built a new canopy for the top of the tank.
Oh god what have I started......

Oh god what have I started...... This hobby is addicting, stressful, expensive and it can also be calming, rewarding and AWESOME! Idk maybe it's the chaos of it all? ;D Congrats on the one year, when I hit my one year I thought it meant nothing but I really did notice a certain maturity about my tank around that time. Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

Nice! When tank upgrade coming? Well, probably not till I move. My wife has told me I could, but I would have to give up my freshwater tanks and I'm it ready to do that yet. Plus I'm not sure the floors in my hundred year old house could take the weight.
