I've heard they are loud but the new magnet setup is supposed to quiet it down. Are you sure you got the new version?

I've heard they are loud but the new magnet setup is supposed to quiet it down. Are you sure you got the new version? Yeah the pump isn't loud at all. Just the water movement on the surface. That's why I said it needs adjusting. The pump it self is dead silent. Maybe I'll try to get a quick video if I get it dialed in. I know I got the newer version because it was out of stock and I got mine out of a brand new shipment. Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

I ended up keeping mine, reinstalled on the right side horizontaled about 3 inches below the water line on pulse mode of about 3 second intervals. I kept one of my rw15's on the opposite side and I'm really liking it now. By itself I didn't like the flow but I'm very pleased with the result when paired with another pump. I'm glad I didn't sell it.

These do move some water that's for sure, but it's not random flow and I feel like it kinda lacks in getting in between and underneath rock work. I like the pump but kinda hate that I have to add another pump to it because for me it defeats the purpose, I wanted a nice clean look. Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

I think this is one of those products that requires patience to get right and then its worth it. Lance has one and upon my first visit it pushed some water but I thought it was really over hyped. I recently stopped over and now that its fine tuned ther is not a dead spot in the tank I'm very impressed with it.

Where he has it set up? Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

I have no idea how he has it set. Its roughly 25% of the way down on the right side of the tank he has an MP below it and another MP on the other side. I'm sure its a combo of the three settings, but it appears to be working great.
