Syntax got his a few weeks ago. We'll where's he at? Lol I'm itching to order one and there isn't many places that actually have them in stock right now. Like to hear some first hand feedback from a local, so his opinion would be awesome! Will it be good as a stand alone for a 75g Sps tank? Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

The unit is really good for certain situations, it's very quiet and pushes a ton of water. I'm thinking of selling my unit that only has an hour of use on it. I'm selling because it is not working as I would like with my center overflow box. Water is being pushed over the side of the box and creating more water splashing sounds than I would like. The flow from the unit is impressive and has the ability to create a nice surge effect in pulse mode, timer can be set from .2 seconds up to 6 hours, nice option to create a nice effect.
I'll give someone here the opportunity to buy it at a "make me an offer" price before putting it on RC. I'm sure it would sell in minutes on RC.

Thought about mounting it sideways? Maybe right on the side of the overflow? Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

Gyre comes in today! Can't wait to try it out, I really hope I made the right choice with the new mp40Qd being only 350$ right now. But I'd of probably need 2 mp40's

Let me know what you think of it. I've been thinking about one as well.

With the way my rock work is I would need 2 gyre's to cover my 125, a single gyre simply doesn't give me the results I'm looking for. I hope you like it, it moves some serious water in a very wide pattern, definitely unique. I'm going to go for the new mp40's, refined product with nice control features and only $50 more. I'm going to order a new mp40 as soon as my wife lifts the tank spending ban... ugh :-)

Keep us posted on what you think. I was debating about one of these for my 93 cube build I'm working on.

So far so good... Really like it, I think I tried to get it set up to fast last night. The video from coral vue looked like they were showing alternating mode on the right but it's on the left. Lol Definitely need to try and fine tune it. Right now the water movement in forward is a little noisy. I think I need to adjust the cages so the flow goes more forward then upwards. They definitely move some serious water! But it's a gentle and wide flow. I really like how it keeps things moving in a constant circle and I want to set it so more particles make it to the overflow. Seems like when I feed 75% of food stays on the sand bed or gets caught in the rocks.
