So I have some rock that got covered with nuisance algae, apistasia, and some unwanted corals. Pulled it out of the tank and left it outside for a couple of days. What is the best way to clean the rock now? Just want to be able to put it back in the tank free of all debris.
Thanks-

I went for the complete cleanse method; bleach bath bath followed by a 30 minute dip in a 10/1 muriatic acid/water solution... did the trick.

Reefcentral has a few good threads about how to clean rock with bleach and muriatic acid. Read up on it first, muriatic acid is nasty stuff.

Does the rock turn white at all from the bleach?

Does the rock turn white at all from the bleach? It lightens but does not turn white.
