I don't remember when I last did a water change. Two, maybe three months ago!? Yea, that's what busy life does to a reef tank.

I do 16g a week! Haven't always done it that consistently but I always end up having problems if I dont. Then I have to play catch up. Been doing it consistently again for months. Thinking about trying to implement a constant water change system. Have the tank automatically remove like 2g a day and replace with freshly mixed saltwater. Just have to get big enough containers so I don't have to fill it up every other day or it wouldn't really save any time.

I too am guilty of infrequent water changes and it has caught up to me this week. My PB tang that has never shone any symptoms of any thing broke out in ich due to the super elevated NO3 if I had to guess. I was wondering about running a NO3 sponge in one of my canisters for awhile. Has any one else had any luck with this
