Seems like when I first started everyone was into Sps and now no one local to me really is? What's up? With all the newer pieces and color combos you'd think more people would be collecting those beautiful sticks I love so much..... When I go on Brs and 4 out of 5 people have sps dominant tanks. It makes me wish there was more people to trade with locally.

SPS is boring..........they are called sticks for a reason. See to me that's just crazy.... There's some awesome Lps and a lot of my favorite corals are Lps, but there's only so many you can get. Most need space and there's only so many color combos. Sps have lots of motion if they're healthy and happy. I get some crazy PE out of my Sps. I also love my Z&P's but I only have so much room in my garden. That's about it for softies in my tank though.... Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

I love the colors and shapes of branching sps like acroporas but the lack of movement gets old for me.

Still my corals of choice. My tank has just been a struggle lately but I'm upgrading shortly and will get my collection back in order.

For me the color and challenges of growing Sps far out weight anything else..... plus this much PE is plenty of movement for me! Love this piece as well, thought I'd give you guys a night shoot ..... Only night lights and flash. Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

In lower light the second piece gets some amazing deep red polyps.... I think the first one would get some more orange/gold on the skin if it were higher up but I don't have the room for it at the top of the tank.

If more people were i to sps I'd have a ton more. I'm a fan of growing and selling. Zoas are my strong point at the moment. I'm moving to chalices even though there is no local market, but I can sell online!
Also the woman doesn't care for sticks.

I love sticks but really have tried to only aquire ones I really like and want to keep and grow long term. I don't want some more blues and reds. These are the same piece 10 days apart. You can definitely see some good growth especially since my lights were off for 2 1/2 days of that... Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards
