I've done a new screen and its not an easy task. When I was finished the phone never worked right again. You basically have to take the entire phone apart...it sucks.

Use a big piece of duct tape or magnet to place screws and parts on. Just imagine it as a phone and put the process were you took then from. There's lots of screws, some super tiny others longer. When taking battery cable off be careful, there's a small piece that sits on one of the screws that most people end up losing. The bigger screws on the side of the frame don't have to be removed, just loosened a bit, but the tiny screws in each corner have to come out. When putting the new screen on make sure both cables are gently pulled completely thru the frame. They have a tendency of getting pinched and then not reaching the board to connect. The cables are very thin and tear easy, be very careful handling them. Before putting new screen on take the tiny grill off the inside of the earpiece and put it on your new screen. They usually don't come with it. Don't forget your home button!!! Text me if you have issues. Don't check the board often.

Rob, I've done a ton of iPhone 4s, when you get your screen in bring it over.
