I'm looking for a beast. Good ideas. If you want a beast..........step up to the Aquamaxx CO-3. That will handle anything you can throw at it with a 125gal tank. And if you add on later, it will still handle it.

I love sedra pumps but sicce put out about the same foam with 1/2 the power!

I love sedra pumps but sicce put out about the same foam with 1/2 the power! This skimmer came out in 2010 and the co-1,2,3 are actually called "Shark" I read on Rc that it's called a shark because that's the name of the modified sicce pump. www.marinedepot.com/AquaMaxx_EcoMaxx_In_Sump_Protein_Skimmer_In_Sump_Venturi_Needle_Wheel_Protein_Skimmers-AquaMaxx-UJ00161-FIPSISNW-UJ00161-vi.htmlSo it seems like this^^ skimmer was the first copy. Imo though about 50%of skimmers are copy of each other because they're all built in the same factories. Let's face it mossy of these company's aren't building their own skimmers. They're all sourcing them out to the same factory and that's why there's always "copys" Here's the jns sk skimmer you was talking about..... www.fishtanksdirect.com/jnssk-3skimmer.aspxLooks really nice and it's still for sale. If they were the first skimmer to come out with that type of level control that's awesome. Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

Aquamaxx is the US importer of JNS products, just renamed them, although you can still get JNS thru Big Al's for a little less money.
