I wanted to reach out to my northern reefing brothers and sisters to extend an invite to this coming year's edition of the FFM. Those of you who have been in the past know that it has grown into the biggest annual "swap" in the northeast and has gotten bigger and better every year. I have quite a list of sellers already signed up but still have some room for new people as well. Pretty much all the major players will be there again this year, and a few pretty exciting new ones! In an attempt to stay true to the original mission of the FFM, I would love to add more hobbyists to the list, but let me know soon so I can save a space for you to sell. It fills up QUICK! I also wanted to mention the admission fee. Based on the # of people who came out last year (800+), I was asked to pay to use the school's space for this year's FFM. I very reluctantly decided that I had to raise the admission fee. I chose $5, and am planning to increase the number of FFM gift certificates that I give away as door prizes and in the raffle. I am also going to use some of the $ collected at the door to start a scholarship for college bound seniors planning to study biology. I am not sure what the scholarship looks like yet, but I promise that the $ will go to a good cause! I'll post more info here as things come together but as usual, let me know if you have questions or need any information on this year's FFM! Thanks- Jon

I know it is a haul for you guys to come down but IMO, it is worth it. You will not see a more diverse group of corals in one place. I have been to a number of MACNA's and there are definitely more corals at the FFM.

Having gone last year its a long drive but the selection is fantastic so is the raffle and host. When it opens it looks like a black Friday sale line absolute madness but in a good way... till someone buys that frag you were eyeballing

Thanks for the good words. I try to set-up the swap that I would like to go to. If you want to avoid the crowd, set up a tank to sell. I swear that a few people do it just to get in early and shop before anyone else...
When you guys come down, make sure to stop by and introduce yourself/say hi. I appreciate the trips that you guys make to come down.

Hmmmmm that's a thought, anyone want to set up a joint selling table? I don't think I could go, but I could send you with a ton of Sps frags and give you a % of things sold? I'd get things cut asap if you wanted to do it so they'd be healed up 100% and fully encrusted. Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

I often have a few smaller scale hobbyists sing up for a single spot and share space. The whole point of the Frag Farmer's is to give the smaller scale hobbyist a chance to set-up next to the "big guy" in a show setting. Just let me know how many people and how many spots and I will see what I can do to keep you all together.

I just passed the 50 vendor mark this past week (just coral vendors, not counting dry goods people). If you want a table, shoot me a PM soon so I don't run out of space. I really want to include hobbyists wherever I can. The popularity of the event, and the crowd that I draw, has attracted lots of stores over the years. I love to have them, and they bring great stuff, but the roots of the FFM were always to give the hobbyist a venue to sell, with the big show crowd to shop from them. Let me know!
