I have gotten a few of these snails as hitchhikers my guess is a type of conch but not sure (I have never had one) what do you think? I have watched some types of snails hunt down others and eat them so any snail with a pointy shell I generally stay away from

ty! but thats crappy.... I have 3 of these and havnt seen them do anything except crawl on the rocks
after doing some research I think it is a murex brassica pulling them out now!

Yup, most species prey on other snails and bivalves.

last one I had eating snails looked like a colorful nassaris snail this one is totally different...
well my reef hermit decided he liked the shell of the big snail I pulled the other 2. im hoping if there were any eggs they get killed by the coral rx dip
