I have a pair of pompom crabs in my pico tank. The female has a pair of nice, luxurious anemones for her pompoms. The male has a piece of gravel. He used to have anemones, then they died and were replaced by xenia, mushrooms, aptasia, etc until he killed those too. I guess he figured he couldn't kill a rock?? haha.

I know! The female used to try to help him out by giving him one of hers but I think she's given up

Be pretty cool if you could get it to hold a couple Rainbow Rics and keep them alive!
Hopefully it's figured out a good alternative way to eat.

Yeah I tried to get him to carry different colored mushrooms in each claw, but no luck. He seems to be eating just fine using just his claws though, so I'm not super worried about him
