Hi Everyone,
Do any of you specifically feed your LPS and SPS if so what do you feed them?

I feed my sps and lps coral frenzy once a week and phytoplan sometimes. My larger lps colonies get a squirt of brine once in awhile as well. I used to target feed my lps every other day but I didn't see huge jumps in growth so I stopped. Truth be told I wouldn't feed corals at all if my tank water wasn't ultra low nutrients (At least that's what I try to have) lol I guess I try to make up for the lps not getting as much nitrates and stuff.

If I have to feed it, I don't buy it. Photosynthetic only for me.........much easier that way. I'm sure they are picking up stuff in the water from the food I feed the fish, but I don't target them at all.

I thought dendro's needed feeding? I could be wrong; I've been wrong before. Lol

Yes, they are non-photosynthetic.........it slipped into my tank..........LOL
But, I placed them in my return pumps flow. So any food that goes into the tank automatically gets pushed right onto them, so I'm sure they are catching food as it goes by.

frozen brine and or mysis soaked in selcon twice a week for spotfeeding my scoly and acans... I also dose MSM every day or couple days. no scientific data for msm and a reef but for me polyp extension of the coral doubles and coral seem to grow stronger and faster

I've been feeding my tank heavily with hikari brine/spiralina and Mysis soaked in selcon 2 to 3 times a day. I've been experimenting with the Italian Pappone a little as well. My acros are coring up nicely, that's my only evidence for something that I'm doing right. Lights, food, water change regimine, crazy powerful skimmer.... Could be any of these or a combo of just a few or all of them. I honestly have no idea but vim liking the coral colors.

I feed my fish pretty heavily w/ frozen brine and cyclops. I don't rinse so theirs a little crustacean juice added daily.
In my paly/zoa frag tank I do target feed pellets to the ones that will take them. Makes them grow like crazy.
