well I have been seeing allot of photo contests lately so why not have our own...
I will donate a frag for the winner. pics will be accepted for the contest threw the 21st then we will have a vote 21st threw 30th oct 1 we will have a winner
all you have to do is take a pic of your favorite fish and post it here....

I'd donate a frag to the pot as well if that's cool. I have a large sour apple birds nest frag, purple sinularia frag some Rics. Pretty much donate any frag I have cut that's not spoken for already.
I can delete this post afterwards. Just throwing it out there. Don't want to hijack.

I think the pics should all get sent to one person and they can post all the pictures with numbers on a poll so the pictures get voted on by how good the picture is instead who took the picture.
Makes it anonymous until the end and fair imo.
If we do it every month then it can fall upon the person who donates the frag for the pot to organize the pics since they probably don't care if they win their own frag.
Idk just what I was thinking??

I was more talking about if we do it in the future. Just trying to be fair about it. I mean I guess it doesn't really matter because we're a small community so most everyone knows what everyone's fish are.

not sure what you mean by fair? everyone has the same rules, if your pic is the best it will win... if your worried about it being a popularity contest, we can cancel the voting and it will be up to the person running the contest to pick a winner, there is a bunch of ways to run it
the way I wanted to do it is the simplest (with help from a mod)
otherwise if it is sent in a message I would need to copy the pic load it to my photobucket then post the pic myself again a pita when a mod can go into your post copy the correct link and paste it to a new thread....
(8 years as a mod on 4 forums... imo-this is the easiest way!)
