Just out of pure curiosity I'd like to take some par readings. I Really don't want to buy one (and won't:) ) so I'm hoping maybe someone has one? I'm not looking for anything special as I know the debate is out weather or not a par meter is that useful with leds, but I'd just like to get some ideas.

People will probably think I'm crazy but I just ordered new lights. I'll probably catch flak for picking leds that aren't as well known and prevalent, but if I did that I wouldn't be me:) Ordered: 2 Orphek Atlantik V2.1 compact Wi-Fi's

No I have only had 3 different lights t5's Chinese leds and the kessil's but I only had the kessil's for a month. The Orphek leds have actually been around from a long time this is just there newer light and the things they say just make sense. As do the things all company's say! Lol I'm not going to go backwards and I'm not completely happy with my current lights so this is the direction I'm going. It's actually the lights I wanted before the kessil's but I went the cheaper route. Found out it wouldn't be much cheaper.

Flak? Not from anyone who knows their lights. There's a guy who has this monster aquarium kit with over 20 Orphek's over his tank, it's amazing.

I was talking about people on this forum Everyone I've mentioned this light to had never heard of it. nothing against anyone's preferences but the lights most people consider awesome just aren't all that to me.(Not that mine are better) Like I said this light has been on my radar for awhile, along with the zetlight Qmaven and the newer ati led- t5 combo.

Looks like a decent light, pretty much everything the ecotech radion offers though. Not sure about price difference though. I give you props for going out on a limb and trying something outside the norm.

Yes and no I mean I don't know a ton about the radions except that there a great light and a lot of people are having success with them. Orphek makes their own leds and semi led chips and they make them for specific chlorophyll needs A, B, Ect this is a light that I believe is the next step up from most. Just my opinion Anyone can talk a light up and I know this but I like what this guy has to say....
