I picked up a few of these guys yesterday!!!! they are pretty cool they are clear with yellow and blue bands on them can anyone id (pic dosnt show all the color on its body, lots of blue bands and spots) some kind of a cleaner shrimp.... here is a pic

they came from a tidal pool at lands end.... I havent seen them with claws and or colors like this. usually they are clear with yellow or orange stems for there eyes... this is what every other one I have caught in the past 10 years has looked like

catching the new ones was easy! I moved some seaweed it jumped on my hand and started picking at my fingernails, so it has to be some kind of cleaner shrimp?

The shrimp in your second photo (from years ago) looks like Palaemonetes pugio. Common and native.

Ok I spent four hours in tidal pools in Biddeford and didn't find a thing. What am I doing wrong? And no wise comments about the Biddo
