Back with another diy for the apex. In order to control the kessil A360WE series you need a controller, in my case I have the apex Jr so I also need the vdm module. The cables to connect the kessil to the vdm or apex(full version) is $24.99 so I decided to build one instead.
Very simple imo, parts you need are...
1-rj45 jack (ether net cable) cat 5,5e or 6
1-8.5mm stereo jack
And a digital multi meter and soldiering gun.
I'm sure the wiring for all the different ether net cables are different but I used a cat 5e cable and the 3 wires I needed were pin 1-orange/white, pin 2-orange and pin 5-blue/white
Witch go the the stereo cable and all is laid out in this picture...
which I got from the Neptune apex forum I'm a sticky at the top of the diy forum.
For me the entire build was free I already had everything and it took me 10 mins in total after finding everything scattered throughout my house:)
