So I left for a week on a trip to Vegas. Came home to find my tank looking, well, good and bad. I had an algae bloom and the tank itself looked pretty bad but my corals all look amazing. In the last week they have all colored up considerably. Not sure why but leaving it completely alone for 7 days helped. I'm thinking my Phosphate levels are probably a bit high but I'm having a hard time not just leaving it alone where everything looks so good but on the other hand I'm worried that the algae will get out of hand if I don't take care of it now.

Did you have your reactor off line while you were gone? I've also noticed in the presence of algae sps does better. Very weird and different then we're taught. Maybe because the algae is sucking up the phosphates? But zoa's normally don't at least not for me>
