well last week I was bit by something poisonous (yes here in maine wtf) I havent stopped sweating since friday and on way to doc again in a few min so after my trip to the emergency room on saturday, when I got home power flickered in my house. and me having a temp of 104 I didnt even check on my 180g. so sunday I go to fill the top off water and notice my heater controller was set to celsius? and my tank had jumped from 76 to 90! so far I lost 2 clams a small one and the new one I just got from divers den my bicolor frogspawn a couple lobos some chalice most of my cloves thats not the bad part the worst is I think I might loose my big frogspawn atleast 15 heads out of about 70 are gone and the rest dosnt look good  I am guessing I will loose at least 1/2 of whats left in the next couple days. it is sad to see the tank basically a fowlr tank. the tank is 5 years old and in the past 6 months I have lost about everything I think I may end up taking the 180 down and replacing it with the new coral system |

Do you know what bit you? Not that I'm comparing at all but I got bit 2 days ago and have gotten hives on and off since, today being the worst yet! Just wondering if you knew what bit you? because I don't.

just got back from doc they dont know either trying a different antibiotic now, hopefully this one does something.
to be honest not to worried about the tank with everything else going on

as far as hives on and off from a bite I would go get checked for mercer!

Omg that all sucks. Wow. If you need a temp stable home for some corals i have room. Atleast to stabilize life loss.

I'm sorry to hear this. When you have anything sorted let me know if you need anything, I'd be happy to give you some nice corals as I'm sure many others on this forum would also like to help rebuild your reef. I hope you feel better soon.

well I am getting better!! the tank- I think the tank is going to come down but it gives me room for the new project  here are pics of the bite woke up friday morning with this (thought I walked into a door nob or the wifey kicked me wile I was sleeping)  er on sat when I realized it was a bite  monday morning antibiotics werent working so went to a normal doc to got new meds temp was still 102+ threw 95..(circles are how much it grew each day.  I should have taken a pic tuesday it was solid red and wensday it started to lighten up fever broke... thursday it started to look like a big bruise thats where im at now.... I still dont know what it was |
