So I bought a Spears 3/4" gate valve to replace my ball valve on my return line. Got it all installed last night, turn the pump back on, and it leaks. At full open or full close it's fine, but when I adjust it to the flow I need there is a leak at the top cover.
I took it apart to make sure everything looked good, put it back together nice and tight, tried it again.......still leaking.
Anyone else using gate valves that don't leak?
I'd like to use one, but I can't deal with leaking under the tank. Damn thing was $23, it shouldn't leak!!
