I'd just like to get some other people to chime in on what they've had success with for the Chinese leds? Length of time they're on? How high above the tank they are? Intensity they are set on? If you prefer w/lenses or without? If you hate them? or love them? Lastly what kind of documented growth have you gotten? Coloration?

Full spectrum Chinese LED 120w light $127 shipped on Ebay. Approx 4 months so far 8" off the water blues - 75% whites - 50% (both approx) no optics
I'm happy with the performance of them, colors are great, corals seem happy. I have no documented growth, but the frags I've got since setting this tank up are growing nicely. My blue maxima is showing growth as well.
I'm thinking about going with a Photon 24 only for the added ramp up/down feature.

On my 35hex reef I had set up for 3 years before this, I had TrueLumen Pro 12" led strips. I had great growth on all corals, especially the SPS I had high on the rock. 6 - 12" strips and they seemed to work great, about 4" off the water.
