I was watching a ytube video of a guy diving on a wreck near Bali and he got a close up of a bright red clown fish with 3 thick black strips. Anyone ever seen one? It was really pretty id love to get one.

Wow! I wonder if it's aggressive like a maroon? Looks most like a maroon to me?

It was shot right on the side of a ship wreck in bali. I just like the red black mix.

No doubt it's just a maroon clown. I'd say it's got some form of hyper melanization though.

It' can either be a genetic or environmental condition that causes excess melanin pigments to be produced in the fishes skin to make it's colors darker.
