I have bought my yellow tang frog spawn hammer clown branching Duncan and clam. Every thing is a good price and rick Debbie Thomas and Shane are always there to help you with any questions I spend most of my Saturdays there but they are by appointment only till labor day I recommend it big time for any looking at setting up a tank or buying fish his dry goods are like half price they are on line

They are definitely nice people. Seemed very willing to chat about the hobby and help out. I wasn't too impressed with the Aussie toxic green hammer coral I got from them at the frag swap though. Got it home and found out that Rick gave me a recently cut frag that was broken in two places. Neither of the hammer polyps survived as they were both cracked completely in half. It was packed gently in a cooler even. I've fragged and sold well over 300 hammer and frogspawn frags so I could care less about it being fresh cut. I'm guessing they just didn't frag the colony properly, had it partially shatter and or didn't notice the damage before bagging it up. Sort of an easy mistake for a novice to make but I was a bit disappointed seeing it from a place so highly talked about. It wasn't the end of the world to me though because I already had more of that same coral and he had given me a Duncan frag for free as well. It was just a loss on my end for having traded a handful of corals for a frag that ended up being damaged and died after just a couple days. All that said, it was Definitely cool to go down, meet everyone and check out the place but I didn't seen enough to make me want to drive all the way back down again. Hopefully I'm wrong though and once they reopen I'll hear enough good to make me want to take the drive down again. Wish they would post updates though like what they have I stock or what's new. Definitely some cool tanks there though. Somebody should post some pics of the place sometime.

Sorry to hear about your experience Ryan. I've found Rick to be very helpful; however, he is extremely busy with maintenance accounts so he is not in the "shop" much at all. I do like that he Q's all his fish for three weeks before selling. He's passionate about the hobby and visiting the shop is fun... I feel like a kid when I go there, it has this "old school" feel to it. Lots of charm.

Just sharing my experiences. Like I said it wasn't a big deal. I had too many frags as it was and shouldn't have brought anymore home with me that day lol. I wasn't trying to make it sound like it was a bad experience because it was a great experience except for the broken frag. It was an easy and I'm sure honest mistake.
