I have this really pesky algae growing on the sides of my tank now that it's fishless, it won't come off with my scraper, anyone have any tricks to get it off?

Are you using the glass scraper? Not the acrylic one

It's junk, you want to be using the black scratchy one. I have an extra if you need it

Are you trying to get it off the glass or the sand bed? Glass didn't look that bad but a mag float would be good for the glass and the rocks on the sand bed just flip them over and it'll die off. Then when it grows back on the rocks do it all over again! eventually it'll stop.

I had the green alge on the glass right after I set up my 110, metal scraper was all I could get to work.
