Does anybody have, and know how to get rid of those pesty little green anemones? They are really colonizing my tank and I would like to eradicate them with out having to take out my rock.

Manjos? If so then aptasia x may work. I've heard many people just smother them in Kalk paste. Your best bet though it to take out every effected rock and srape them off one by one. If they are deep in a hole, I drill them out with a screw driver or a masonry bit. What ever you can do to physically remove them almost always works the best.

I had good luck with the kalk paste. I went through and zapped everything I could find and I haven't seen any since.

Yea Aptasia x is definitely hit or miss. I've had it work well on some but not even effect others. I always vote for physically removing them. You could always trade out some of the rock to someone who does want them.

you could also get a matted filefish unless you have an anemone and it might end up eating polyps when it runs out of manjao

in the past for aptista I have made a past out of my tank salt and used a syringe to inject it directly into the anemone with some luck. I tried it with some of the manjos and it seemed to work. I manually removed some also, the problem is that they are everywhere. I think my next plan of attack is to get some joes or pickling lime and make a paste shut off all circulation and plaster the little brats to see what happens. Any other suggestions?

I vote for physical removal, or Kalk paste outside of tank, then rince really well. Unlike aptasia, mojano have a firm foot and can be peeled off if its accessible. If you end up scraping some off, give them to nova lol
