Woke up to see a dead clam. Took it out. Thinking about doing a water change on the frag tank. Thinking about pulling all the sand out of the fuge. thinking of what I can order for my tanks, I see nothing I really want that's in stock. Thinking on how to do an external fuge on the 125 or do a frag tank off the sump.

Let's see thursday night removed all dead fish from tank, ram hot water packs from inlaws to try to get some heat back into the tank. Yesterday packed all corals into buckets with heaters and power heads and brought to inlaws. 9:30 PM to 4:30AM unpacked raunchy smelling corals from buckets, did a SW dip and put them back in the tank. All frags wipred out, may have saved a few anemone's a few big hairy mushrooms, a couple of branches of toadstool and hammer, and a coco worm. Yesterday ordered a whole house Generac.

Brian.......I wish you would have called Dan and I. Both of our QT tanks are empty and we could have housed your stuff for you. Dan had a generator ready to let you use too, he never looses power at his house. I lost it twice here for a total of 6-7 hours, so my generator was in use. Upside is that you now get the 65 setup and going.

I have lost power before with no issues I install a power and a battery operated air pump, wrap the tank in a plastic tarp and then wrap the tank with 6+ blankets. I have done this many times with no issues. The power went out at 8:30 Wednesday night and we stayed here using a ton of candles and maintained the temp at 61. Thuesday morning I lifted the coverings to check the thak and al the fish were dead. I checked the water temp and it was at 58. Thank you both for the offer and will always have that in the back of my head. We are having a company out on Tuesday to install a generator

I probably did too much with my tank today. I've been so busy lately I haven't done much and today I was in the mood. Killed and removed an aptasia anemone that had recently appeared. Scrapped the glass, which meant I had to clean my strainer about an hour later. Then my wife wanted to go in town, so I stopped at petco and the kid in the department didn't have a clue. I ended up getting an emerald crab, six line (last one committed suicide in my power head), and a neon dotty for $25. Everyone is now all acclimated in their homes, crab in DT fish in QT.

Thinking about ordering some high end chalices and other peices, tough to spend that much on something that's the size of a quarter. Pink boobies chalice, water melon chalice, space monsters palys, more ultra clams, etc. so ready to pull the trigger.

Yesterday, 60 frags to Easy Aquariums. Today added a Marble Wrasse (video) to my display and a Melanurus to one of my frag tanks. Also picked up 2 new Scolys, some Palys, Zoas, (from Easy) and a couple of Maxi Minis (from Ryan). Sweet.
