Changed GFO on big tank and tested water cal 500, mag 1520, alk 9. Don't understand my high cal and mag, haven't dosed anything in a couple of weeks, and no water change this week, maybe I need more coral. Also added GFO to the little tank

Today I reglued a birdsnest frag that keeps falling, topheavy and my crabs are growing...I know, lye soap right? Cant wait to do the move to the larger tank so that everything can have its own space to be glued in place to grow out. cleaned the skimmer cup and sprayed down the mangroves with rodi water to remove the salt. Can I get a frag of your mangrove?  lol hell yah I have 12 healthy mangroves and i think they compete with the cheato when i deliver the pump ill bring them. |

I just set up another overflow and I'm thinking about putting it in there? Great flow and great light so it should be good in there right?

I fixed a couple screw ups I made on my stand doors today. I replaced a couple of trim pieces that I cracked because I over tightened the screws and I replaced the six steel main hinges that bent with 8 new stainless steel ones that won't bend as easy. The new hinges also made it so I was able to easily space the doors apart so they both shut properly. Then I finished my door stops to keep the bifold doors from being pushed in. Just a few pieces to coat in poly and then it's on the the light bracket. Debating on wether I want to add door handles or not, if I do I'm debating on just two handles on the middle doors or doing handles on all four doors to make it look like all four open separately. Haven't decided which way to go yet.

Today I did a bleach and muriatic acid bath on about 200lbs of live rock! Chemistry stuff.

I used baking soda to neutralize the acid. pretty sure the cashiers at riteaid think im the biggest crackhead ever buy one get one free with the wellness card.

yesterday.. in my 40g I changed 15g of water and 20g in the breeding system. cut baffles for a 75g sump.
I picked up another 20' of flex pvc and drilled the holes in my stand to run the plumbing for the 40b's
with my ro/di I put a T in before the di chamber and hooked up a carbon coconut filter in line for drinking water
today the plan is to change all the filters in my ro/di

I did my water test with my new red sea test kit. Slowed my micro bubbles down and zip tied my wires up high Under My stand.
