Shadowing for me..............the colors of the Radion Pro's is great alone. Same thing here..... With a bunch of sps colonies shadowing can be a pain in the a$$! Plus I've always valued the concept of hybrid lighting. You get the best of 2 different successful kinds of lighting. I think I'll be able to keep more types of corals and get more coloration out of those corals. Time will tell though. Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards |

I was contemplating adding 5t to my led over my 40g tanks because of the shadowing... I decided to go with a lightrail. (merry christmas, I ordered them today  ) I think I can turn the one light sideways and cover the 36"x18" tank putting light under coral branches where they normally wouldnt get much light. win win! |

First time seeing the T5's over my tank and Wow! They bring out some great colors. I love that they don't change the color or look of the tank to much. I can barely tell they're on there.
I don't like the way things are looking on top of the tank though. Something I'm going to have to think about how to change.

lol you havnt seen the rest hahahaha my favorites are a single yellow and a single light purple and yellow not to say the green/yellow/red/orange speckled rainbow arent nice  I ordered some a few weeks ago that fedex held for 2 days so it all died... the best part about it is when they melted away almost every shroom turned into 2-4 little nubs that will come back in a couple months. my tank has atleast 100 of these from the dead order and this pic is the replacement.... |

Installed an ecotech reef link controller the other night. Yesterday I did a water change after about 6-7 weeks without one. Today I built new taller hoffer gurgle buster overflow silencers.

Today I also fraged three more rainbow bubble tip anemones. If all make it I will have a solid 18 different bubble tips now.

Today I won $25 from Vance's Aquariums up in Bucksport. Then I went to go look at my tank to see what I would need and found my 5" neon green thick branch birdsnest with RTN. Nothing left of it. Would adding new phosban kill a coral like that?

Ordered folding glass tops for my 125 to use during the winter to try and combat some of our humidity issues. At my wife's request lol.

ordering?  ? I have everything you need.... I have the plastic hinges but I wouldnt use them they just block light.... would trade for the refracto I also added a mp10 to my 40 cube.... now maybe my lightning will stop attacking pumps! he hates the maxijet in there now lol |

For the first time since Oct I gave my tank some love. Not really sure what the issue has been but select lps have been stressing and dying while others thrive. Nothing has been testing to far out of range, water changes haven't seemed to help either. Today I did a 50% change and rescaped things, scraped the glass (I haven't been able to see in my tank lol) and now waiting for it to clear up to add the rest of my mushrooms and hopefully get down to one tank.
